Baseline Sono and Lab 11-27-09

Went to day for my baseline sonogram and E2 lab work (Estradiol). The nurse there said that my level needed to be under 75 to get, to add the next injections. Well, they have called me and my E2 level was 46! (which is great)..... I will take my Lupron 20 units tonight and then tomorrow at the same time as my Lupron injection, I will add 2 more injections... One medication is called Follistim and the other is Menopur. Thank goodness that all so far are SQ injections, so I can do them. My sweet hubby is scard of needles and isn't wanting to have to give me a shot.

The sonogram also looked good when I was in the office today! I texted my hubby to let him know about the doctor visit and the text back was sweet.... saying "sounds great, can't wait to have a baby with you." Love is so great when you have the right person by your side. I am truly blessed with a wonderful husband, beautiful daughter and son, great family and friends.

My life would not be today, what it is without each of you (family and friends) and God. Thank you for all the prayers, David and I are so excited to share our experenices with you. God bless!

Birth Control Pills

Well, today is the last day of taking birth control pills! I am still taking Lupron shots every night at 7:35 pm. I go to the doctor office on Friday 25th to get an ultrasound and lab drawn. I will then start more injections..

Shots!

I never thought I would be able to give myself a shot everyday... I am glad that these are SQ injections.. I asked David to give me a shot last night so that he can practice with the SQ shot. He is so scard of needles and wouldn't even try giving me the shot. I told him that I am going to need him to give me an IM shot at the end of the cycle, so he better practice! I surely don't want to be nervous with him giving me the IM shot! I would hate to have to give it to myself.. I know it is a mind thing but I surely would be talking to myself to get the nerves up! I can give shots all day long to other people but to give yourself an IM shot, you have to be stoked and good... I will do whatever I need to do for the baby...

Here we go!

I have started my injections of Lupron, to be taken every night around 7:35 pm. This shot really burns....... but it is worth every bit of it! David and I are really praying that this cycle will be our 1st and only cycle that we will need..
To succeed to being baby bound!


Ashlyn is excited and thinking of names... We told her to think of a few names, because we are not sure if the Lord will bless us with a baby or babies....

November 18th, 2009 * starting our journey*

I am looking so foward to going to the doctor for our 1st sono and starting the IFV shots. I'm not ready for the pain of the daily injections, but I will do whatever it takes. Wish me luck and keep us in your prayers.
